Connect Make to Post Array
Make talks to Post Array's REST API with its HTTP app and a service account token. Use it to turn new rows, feed items or form answers into drafts.
How to connect it
Step 1 In Post Array, open Settings, then Agents and API, and create a service account. Copy its token and keep it in Make's credentials.
Step 2 Add the HTTP app's Make a request module. Set the method to POST and the URL to this address.
https://api.postarray.com/v1/contentStep 3 Add your token in the authentication settings as an Authorization header that starts with Bearer, then add an Idempotency-Key header. Use a new key for every new post.
Authorization: Bearer <your service account token> Idempotency-Key: <a new key for each post>Step 4 Set Body content type to application/JSON and send the draft with your own project and account ids.
{ "projectId": "<your project id>", "body": "We just published a new article.", "targets": [{ "connectionId": "<your account id>" }] }
Three things to try
New blog post, new draft
Set it up
Start from an RSS trigger. For each new item, send a draft with its title and link to your LinkedIn and Bluesky accounts. Each draft waits in Post Array until you schedule it.
A spreadsheet of posts
Set it up
Start from a new row in a spreadsheet. Send the row's text as a draft to the accounts you choose. Put the row number in the Idempotency-Key, so a retry never makes a second draft.
A morning check
Set it up
Every morning, ask Post Array for posts that need attention with GET /v1/posts?status=needs_attention, and send yourself a message when the list is not empty.
You stay in charge
The token belongs to a service account with its own limits, and one button in Settings stops it. Drafts made this way wait in Post Array until someone schedules them.
Questions
Does connecting Make cost extra?
Post Array does not charge for connecting an agent. Make may need its own plan, so check its pricing.
Can Make post without asking me?
No. It can draft and schedule. Posting right away always needs you to approve it in Post Array, and a project that needs approval holds scheduled posts until someone approves them.
Do I need an API key?
Yes. Make uses a service account token, which you create in Settings, under Agents and API. Keep it in Make's credentials, never in a shared file or a spreadsheet.
Ready to try it?
Make a free account, connect your social accounts, then connect Make. It takes a few minutes.
