What is stored in your browser, why, and what happens if you refuse the optional parts.
Strictly necessary
A session cookie that keeps you signed in, a cross site request forgery token, and a preference cookie holding your theme and time zone choice. These cannot be turned off without breaking sign in, and they are not used for advertising.
Product analytics
Aggregate, first party measurement of which screens are used, so we can fix the ones that are not working. It is optional, it is off until you allow it, and refusing it changes nothing about the product.
Advertising
We do not run advertising cookies, we do not embed third party advertising pixels, and we do not sell or share personal information for cross context behavioural advertising.
Tracked short links
A short link click creates first party analytics for the workspace that owns the link. Location and device data are minimized, bot traffic is classified out, IP addresses are truncated or discarded promptly, and a workspace can turn tracking off or shorten retention. Nothing sensitive is ever put in a slug or a query parameter.
Changing your mind
The consent choice is stored with a version and can be changed at any time in Settings, under data controls. Withdrawing consent takes effect immediately.
